- Participate in the scoping and creation of project plans aligned with infrastructure initiatives
- Create and maintain all pertinent Systems Operations process documentation.
- Help to develop and implement Standard operating procedures and policies which will be used to manage and maintain our server environments.
- Solve computer related problems troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Design and engineer Server deployments including Domain Controllers Windows Imaging servers DNS servers Certificate Authority Servers.
- Develop recommend and implement new or updated technologies and procedures as necessary including software operating systems and system updates.
- Assess security and upkeep of security in respective knowledge areas.
- Work closely with the information Security team to ensure all corporate compliance objectives are met.
- Monitor networked computer equipment.
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise and deploy creative solutions.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Windows/Linux Server in both Cloud and on-premise virtualization environments.
- Provide remote office support.
- Support deployment and administration of MFA across data center systems SaaS services virtualized and cloud environments.
- Work with Service Providers and Product Vendors to ensure uptime of resources.
- Supporting high-availability data replication business continuity fail-over solutions including disaster recovery and offsite storage implementations and support.
- Collect data and interpret errors and/or problems in configurations
- Drive and coordinate incident management.
- Manage ongoing software and security patch updates for both servers and remote PCs.
- Strong initiative with the ability to analyze and adopt a strategic view.
- Knowledge of orchestration and task automation configuration management frameworks similar to Powershell.
- In-debt knowledge of PCs and operating systems (Linux Windows).
- In-depth knowledge of Linux applications.
- In-depth knowledge of virtualization operating systems.
- In-depth knowledge of storage and backup utilities.
- Technical expertise designing deployments of Microsoft applications within the Active Directory framework.

- Minimum 5+ years of experience troubleshooting virtualization platforms.
- Minimum 10 years of experience troubleshooting PCs with either Windows or Linux based applications
- Bachelors degree with specialization in an information technology field or equivalent combination of related education and work experience

About the Role:Job Summary:
This position is responsible for developing and implementing the direction of Server and Application environments with an emphasis on supporting Windows and Linux servers. This position also works within the infrastructure team to plan and implement the Systems infrastructure and computer telephony interface environments. The Senior System Administrator is expected to be proactive and leverage analysis tools for monitoring and auditing. The Senior System Administrator will gather requirements for design solutions plan and implement based on standards and best practices. This person will have the experience needed to provide recommendations to enhance existing system designs and implement additional elements. The Senior System Administrator will also provide leadership and guidance to junior system administrators and members of the helpdesk as they work to help monitor and optimize all server software and hardware.
