- Responsible for leading one or more complex projects at a time
- Clearly defining and communicating roles, responsibilities, and expectations for all members of the project team; gathering, defining, and documenting project requirements
- Independently planning all associated work to meet project goals, providing direction and leadership to completion
- Recording, tracking, and communicating issues, risks, changes, and status reports
- Accurately and consistently forecasting project resource, material, and contract costs
- Developing and maintaining up-to-date detailed project schedules and work plans and conducting site visits and walk downs as needed.
- Communicating status of all projects to stakeholders and management
- Developing and maintaining a productive working relationship with project sponsors, vendors, and key clients
- Preparing all project documentation for closure, storage, and possible auditing activities, ensuring technical accuracy
- Understanding of project budgeting and forecasting; utility experience is a plus
- Competency in developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of needs
- Competency in interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators
- Skill in negotiating between stakeholders to reach an agreement
- Knowledge of project management and workforce planning analytics theories, concepts, methods, best practices and techniques
