- Lead individual improvement projects and support existing improvement projects within the department
- Analysis and improvement of production processes (e.g., internal logistics, MRP, industrial engineering, final assembly)
- Support Industrial Engineering in New Product Introductions and product ramp-ups / ramp-downs
- Prepare regular progress reports, presentations, and updates for projects
- Develop and maintain key metrics (KPIs) and visualize department KPIs
- Enrolled student at a German university
- Studies of industrial engineering, business management or equivalent course of studies
- Interest in production and in technology offered by TRUMPF
- Excellent knowledge of MS office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Very good command of written and spoken English
- SAP, Project Planning Software (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet) and SolidWorks knowledge is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a multifunctional team
- Strong dedication to improvement and analytical skills
- TRUMPF knowledge is a plus
