Description

Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with project needs and company objectives.
Support the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and timely delivery of goods and services.
Assist in negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors under the guidance of senior procurement managers.
Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, including project managers and engineers, to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely fulfillment.
Help maintain supplier relationships, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues to facilitate smooth procurement operations.
Contribute to analyzing market trends, pricing, and supplydemand dynamics to support informed decisionmaking.
Assist in managing procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier databases.
Support in monitoring supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement, and assisting in implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Aid in tracking procurement budgets, expenditures, and costsaving initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and compliance standards related to procurement activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
1 to 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.
Basic understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
