- Maintain knowledge of flood compliance regulations and associated changes
- Provide flood review for business units during loan origination process and provide guidance on requirements to avoid regulatory exceptions and/or delays
- Perform ongoing monitoring and tracking of flood insurance requirements for all loans in accordance with bank policies and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with insurance providers to obtain appropriate flood documentation as required
- Monitor, track, and evaluate flood insurance policies for sufficiency and accuracy - meeting all bank and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and provide flood related information for all internal and external audits
- Serve as subject matter expert on flood insurance requirements and provide guidance to other employees involved with flood compliance
- Understand and enforce Bank's forced place insurance requirements in full compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Draft and maintain Bank's flood policies and procedures
- Understand and resolve complex flood issues
- Work closely with Bank's flood vendor to ensure SLA's and quality thresholds are met
- Provide on-going training to origination team as needed and as regulations change to ensure bank-wide compliance with flood requirements
- Receive and review pre-closing flood due diligence to evaluate compliance and flood insurance sufficiency
- Serve as the Loan Operations Flood Gatekeeper and subject matter expert
- Work with bank's compliance team to respond to internal and external audit requests
- Cross train in various Loan Operations functions to assist during peak times (cross functional role)
- Required - minimum of 3 years of commercial loan operations experience - experience should include commercial loan documentation, commercial loan closing, and/or commercial collateral tracking
- Required - minimum of three years prior experience administering flood compliance regulations on new and renewed commercial loans, including initial funding requirements and ongoing insurance monitoring
- Demonstrated knowledge of flood insurance regulations and ability to apply regulatory knowledge to flood compliance process
- Experience with collateral tracking software, Abrigo, and/or ACBS commercial loan software and document imaging software preferred
- Experience with MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
- Detail oriented, analytical for problem identification and resolution, able to prioritize multiple tasks - candidate must be well-organized
- Excellent oral and written communication skills candidate must be able to communicate to all levels within the organization as well as with external bank clients
- Must be versatile to support other areas of Operations
- Ability to manage a high volume of deadline driven work in a fast-paced environment
- Superior customer service mindset when working with both internal and external personnel, including bank vendors when applicable

Brief Overview of Position
The Loan Operations Flood Compliance Administrator position is responsible for all aspects of Texas Capital Bank's flood compliance program as it relates to loans originated in the commercial lending space.
This role reviews, analyzes, and monitors the commercial loan portfolio to ensure appropriate flood due diligence is performed and completed prior to loan closing.
For loans secured by collateral in a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), the Flood Compliance Administrator is responsible for reviewing and monitoring flood insurance for sufficiency throughout the life of the loan.
