Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Villa Park, IL

Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive team in Villa Park, Illinois. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students who have diverse learning needs, providing specialized instruction and support to help them succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
Adapt curriculum materials and instructional techniques to meet the unique needs of each student
Provide direct instruction and support in academic subjects, life skills, and social-emotional development
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions and strategies as needed
municate regularly with parents and caregivers to share student progress and goals

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement or eligibility for licensure
Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
Strong munication and collaboration skills
passionate and patient approach to teaching and supporting students

State Licensure Requirements:
Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) endorsement.
