    Bridgeline Staffing is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. This contract will last for the entire Fall semester with a possibility of being brought on permanently afterward. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs and abilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
    • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
    • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
    • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students
    • Promote positive behavior and social skills development
    • Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
    • Professional Educator's License (PEL)
    • LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1)
    • Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher (Preferred)
    • Strong knowledge of best practices and current trends in special education
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff
    • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
