    The Hebron Board of Education has anticipated multiple Preschool Paraeducator openings at Gilead Hill School, for the school year.

    Position Summary:


    Preschool paraeducators work with students in a preschool setting under the direction of a classroom teacher to assist in the support of preschool students and works in cooperation with the Principal, Dean of Students, Director of Special Education, and assigned teacher in performing the varied tasks within a classroom, playground, cafeteria and throughout the school.

    The preschool paraeducator will also assist in the implementation of IEP goals and objectives.

    The ideal candidate has prior experience in this role, and is flexible to adapt to the changing nature of the demands of the class.

    They will work closely with an assigned teacher and support them in their duties. Typical tasks include working with students in groups and individually during lessons, assisting with lesson plans and materials. The thriving preschool paraeducator is caring, compassionate, and committed to each student's success.

    Supervisor/Evaluation:
    Receives general supervision and performance evaluation from Principal and/or Dean of Students with significant input from teachers.
