Join Denny's Operations Excellence Team for Summer 2024 The Operations Excellence Intern will report directly to the Manager of Operations Excellence and assist with the day to day tasks such as:

Project, timeline, and task management
Support test initiatives for the brand
Documentation of systems and processes
Creation of checklists
Collect feedback from restaurants through surveys and phone calls
Work in Denny's Test Kitchen on new initiatives, including R&D, photos, documentation, time studies
Basic data analysis in Microsoft Excel
Collaboration in presentations and slide creation in Microsoft PowerPoint

This position works cross-functionally with both internal and external business partners across the Denny's Brand.

More about our Operations Excellence Department:

Ensure the needs of our restaurant operators are represented throughout major initiatives in development for the brand, including menu, product, and technology
Develop operational efficiency initiatives to enable our restaurants to serve guests more efficiently and consistently
Equip restaurants and operators with Operational Business Intelligence so they can run their restaurants more effectively
Develop, document, and implement systems and processes around executing Denny's core standards

Education & Requirements

By Summer 2023, you must be a rising Junior or Senior at a 4-year college or university.
Must be able to prove that you have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
