- Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff, maintaining effective employee relations.
- Manages and monitors branch expenditures.
- Develop, apply, and evaluate policies and procedures for the branch.
- Recruit and select quality applicants for vacancies, ensuring that the credit union is adequately staffed with competent employees.
- Schedule staff, give performance reviews, and recommend salary adjustments.
- Ensure adequate staffing for efficient branch operation.
- Manage and recommend the purchase of equipment and supplies.
- Ensure that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies.
- Monitor key products/sales within the branch to ensure profitable and sound business practices for the credit union, a high quality of service for members, and that employees are maximizing opportunities to sell products.
- Manage the security and safety of the branch, with responsibility to analyze security and safety policies and procedures, and to alert staff of any changes.
- Process consumer and home equity loan applications.
- Serve as the Bank Secrecy Act/USA Patriot Act/Office of Foreign Assets Control compliance officer for the credit union.
- Promote and sell the products and services offered by the credit union.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience.
- Previous experience in financial branch management, financial services, or other related fields.
- Knowledge of common banking practices.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Ability to work under pressure.
