- Work closely with Staff Accountants and Managers to ensure efficient and accurate financial reporting
- Reconcile and oversee critical general ledger accounts
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the Company's entities and assist in basic general ledger accounting functions
- Assist in year-end financial audit by preparing and reviewing audit schedules and interacting with auditors
- Ensure integrity of financial systems by working closely with Director of Financial Systems and Information Solutions department to ensure accounting and reporting systems are maintained and functioning properly
- Participate in and help with monthly close process
- Ability to step away from the details and see the big picture
- Able to complete assigned tasks with minimal direction
