The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) is looking for a dedicated Governance & Member Board Relations Manager.
The Governance & Member Board Relations Manager will play a key role in engaging with various ABMS Governance bodies and groups, such as the ABMS Awards Committee, the ABMS Public Member Caucus, the ABMS Stakeholder Council, and the ABMS Committee chairs. This individual will also act as a bridge to staff teams in other ABMS departments.
This position, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Governance & Board Relations, is full-time and exempt.
Founded in 1933, ABMS focuses on setting high standards for physician certification in the United States, aiming to enhance the quality of care provided to patients, families, and communities. The 24 ABMS Member Boards develop and maintain educational and professional standards and assessment programs to certify physicians and medical specialists. Working Hours: Full-time, 37.50 hours per week, with flexibility. Occasional weekend work and travel may be required.
