your playbook

  • Negotiate new Master Service Agreements with Global carriers for all Access and Equipment services needed to enable sales. This includes services such as Ethernet, DIA, Broadband, Waves, Dark Fiber, Managed CPE, and network related hardware globally.
  • Organize and maintain vendor contracts, SLAs, Product Guides, and technical specification documentation and ensure Nitel customer MSA/SLA contain parameters covered by carriers.
  • Establish and distribute internal communications regarding vendor information, product, and system releases, maintain contact & escalation lists.
  • Hold Carrier accountable for industry leading performance SLAs.
  • Document ETL, cancel, MAC, SUPP charges by vendor.
  • Assist in managing and refining vendor onboarding process, across all functional departments.
  • Coordinate with department stakeholders for network and system integration of new product types, technologies, and vendors.
  • Provide pricing analytics for new vendors, existing vendors, and market.
  • Manage and maintain carrier pricing analysis for new carriers, existing carrier pricing, and marketbased pricing.
  • Track and manage all carrier commitment levels in conjunction with Accounting Operations.
  • Manage annual cost reduction targets by maintaining proper term dates of the circuit base with each carrier and other optimization efforts.
  • Assist with management of revenue replacement inventory.
  • Assist finance department with carrier rate increase circuits.

skills you bring to the field

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field; an advanced degree would be incredible
  • At least 7 years of professional Telco experience that includes independent research, problem solving, teamwork and solid communication skills.
  • International vendor management experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to attend Industry conferences.
  • Proficient in reporting, data analysis and experience negotiating contracts.
  • Experience with purchasing, product development and system development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and sound numerical skills.
  • Proven problem solving, analytical and decisionmaking skills.
  • Highly responsive, initiativetaking, and able to act on own initiative.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain quality while working under pressure.
