We are hiring an Electrification Specialist to implement the electrification of fracturing equipment, as well as have input to the control systems of fracturing equipment, both electric powered and conventional.
Compensation:
$100,000-$110,000 DOE + BonusLocation: The Woodlands, TXKey Responsibilities Exercise sound engineering and design principles Wellsite visits to observe and evaluate equipment performance Provide support to operations, maintenance, fabrication, and engineering teams Assemble and disassemble equipment as needed in a field and shop environment Perform engineering hand calculations and conduct cost analysis on designs Provide technical documentation related to equipment and design and processes, including drawings for fabrication, drawings for assembly, bill of materials, etc. Prepares equipment manuals and testing specifications/procedures Assists with testing electrical/instrumentation equipment and analyzing technical data Takes the lead on equipment tests and provides guidance and support to testing personnelRequirements Bachelor Degree or Technology Diploma (with experience) in engineering or equivalent (Electrical Power Systems, Electrical Engineering) Medium/Low Voltage 3 phase and single-phase power systems ( Mobile Power Systems experience Working outside of normal working hours (i.e. nights, weekends, holidays) when required Proficiency in 3D modeling software is a plusAs an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE), M/F/H/V we endeavor to recruit, hire, train, promote, and treat individuals without regard to race, religion, creed, ancestry, sex, gender, (including gender nonconformity and status as a transgender or transsexual individual), age, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, citizenship, genetic information, past, current or prospective service in the uniformed services, color, national origin, marital or veteran status, or any other protected status recognized by applicable federal, state, or local law.
