    Position Summary:

    The Executive Assistant shall work under the supervision of the General Manager (GM). The role's primary responsibility is to provide clerical and administrative support to the GM and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The Executive Assistant acts as a public receptionist and liaison, answering telephones, relaying messages and information to/from the GM and CEO, scheduling meetings and providing other administrative support.

    Qualifications – Education and Experience:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • A minimum of one year's experience in the same or similar capacity.
    • Completion of college courses or completion of an associate degree.
    • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong competency to process and relay information.
    • Flexible, must work overtime when needed.
    • Accountable, dependable, and reliable.
    • Highly organized and efficient with a strong ability to handle multiple projects and assignments.
    • Ability to make use of time in an efficient and productive manner.
    • Strong people and be able to deal with stressful situations.
    • Good judgment and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to work independently and contribute as a team player.
    • Knowledge of the Data Privacy Act and confidentiality laws.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • College coursework in business administration.
    • Experience in a startup environment.
    • Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the hospitality, marketing, and/or business development profession.
    • Experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems.
    • Strong oral, reading, and written communication skills.

    Work Environment:

    The work environment is fast-paced and requires overall good mental and physical health.

    Physical Demands:

    Job-specific abilities and requirements include:

    Good hearing is required with the ability to process information.

    Good physical and psychological health.

    Medium to heavy lifting to a maximum of 50 pounds may be required.

    Walking is required, as well as bending and overhead reaching.

    The incumbent will be exposed to repetitive motion by extensive use of a computer and related office equipment.

    Good posture should be exercised for sound ergonomics.

    Ability to tolerate various scents, noises, and bright lights.

    Native American Preference will apply when candidates are equally qualified.
