    Description

    Job Title: Safety Manager

    About the Company: Titan Florida is currently seeking a Safety Manager for its operations in Northern & Central Florida. This crucial role, based in Orlando, FL, will directly report to the Assistant Safety Director for Titan North America. Join us in our commitment to maintaining top-notch safety standards throughout our operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure compliance with OSHA/DOT regulations, including employee training and monitoring of occupational exposure
    • Monitor safety progress, implement initiatives to enhance safety performance
    • Collaborate with Regional management on day-to-day needs and strategic safety initiatives
    • Lead investigations of safety incidents, acting as a liaison between regulatory agencies and operations
    • Analyze incidents, develop and execute initiatives based on findings to prevent future occurrences
    • Manage Behavior Based Safety Program, aligning with corporate safety standards

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
    • Experience in OSHA and DOT compliance
    • Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing facility, with exposure to plant operations and equipment
    • Proficiency in establishing and nurturing a proactive safety culture
    • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills
    • MS Office Suite proficiency
    • Demonstrated ability to form strategic partnerships
    • Position involves up to 50% travel throughout central and northern Florida
