    *City Staffing's client, a financial institution located in Elgin, is looking for reliable and professional Clerical Support Assistants *This team provides a vital service and is actively working onsite.

    *Schedule and Pay Rate: *1st Shift: *Mondays - Fridays, 7:00am-3:30pm - $20.00/hr

    • 2nd Shift:
    • Mondays - Fridays, 3:30pm-12:00am - $22.00/hr
    • 3rd Shift: Sunday nights - Thursday nights, 10:30pm-7:00am - $23.00/hr

    _\*\*There are a limited number of seats for each schedule, therefore being open to more than one schedule increases assignment availability.

    *Duration: *Open-ended long-term temporary assignment, with no set end date.
    _(Varies based on candidate performance and client workload.)_

    *Job Description :

    As a Clerical Support Assistant (AKA Remittance Processor), you would be responsible for processing daily document transactions which can include some moderately complex tasks.

    You would be expected to maintain a high level of production and accuracy daily.

    Specific responsibilities for the Clerical Support Assistant role may include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Preparing batches of work by removing payments and forms from envelopes
    • Inputting data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer specific instructions for processing
    • Operating high-speed imaging equipment
    • Verifying checks through customer specific instructions for processing
    • Matching check images to corresponding material while validating quality of images
    • Maintaining productivity and quality standards
    • Contributing to meeting team goals in addition to individual responsibilities
    • Working in all areas/departments of production as needed
    • Making judgment calls regarding routine duties but refer non-routine situations to a supervisor and/or manager

    Requirements:

    • Attention to detail and focus around meeting deadlines
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Basic computer and typing skills
    • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
    • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time
    • Must be a team player and maintain a positive attitude at all times
    • Effectively interact with all diverse groups within the organization
    A Security Clearance will be required for this position.

    This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Fingerprints
    • Credit Check
    • Employment History
    • Proof of legal U.S. residence for up to 7 years
    This position may require you to work additional hours as business needs arise.


    According to client requirements, all applicants MUST be able to pass a state, county, and federal criminal background check, credit check, as well as a drug test.
