    ApprenticeshipNH Apprentice Resource Navigator - Northern Hub - (WD/CE Community Liaison II)

    Hourly Rate Range - $ $30.61

    Scope of Work: The Apprentice Resource Navigator coordinates the recruitment, enrollment, and case management services for apprentices and pre-apprentices enrolled in one or more ApprenticeshipNH grants within the ApprenticeshipNH's Northern Hub and coordinates outreach efforts to businesses, community organizations, and state entities to promote and expand Registered Apprenticeship Programs. This position reports to the State Apprenticeship Expansion Formula Grant Manager.

    Accountabilities:
    • Collaborates with CCSNH staff, the ApprenticeshipNH team, and Grant Managers to coordinate grant enrollments and connect apprentices and pre-apprentices to local state and community organizations that provide financial support for training in the Northern ApprenticeshipNH Hub.
    • Processes apprentices and pre-apprentices' scholarship submissions and requests for support service funds in accordance with CCSNH policies and procedures.
    • Plans and conducts information sessions at community-based organizations providing services to underrepresented populations to help create appropriate access points to Registered Apprenticeship Programs.
    • Works to increase the involvement of underrepresented populations (low-income individuals, veterans, women, youth, individuals with disabilities, and refugees/ English as a Second Language) in registered apprenticeships and pre-apprenticeships.
    • Reviews and recommends best industry standards and practices to ApprenticeshipNH team, CCSNH, the Federal Office of Apprenticeship potential industry partners, and community-based organizations to increase the number of underrepresented populations in Registered Apprenticeship and Pre-apprenticeship programs.
    • Identifies apprenticeship candidates' obstacles to Registered Apprenticeship Programs to develop action steps and resources to remove barriers.
    • Coordinates and manages the collection of data, source documentation, and submits necessary documentation in a timely manner to complete all required and requested reports. validation sources.
    • Provides case management services for apprentices including regular check-ins, monitoring of progress throughout the apprenticeship and/or pre-apprenticeship program, enrollment in related instruction courses, referral to state and local resources, and general support to increase apprentice completion rates.
    • Provides technical assistance to industry partners to promote the value of culture competency, EEO regulations, and providing opportunities to underrepresented populations.
    • Attend and actively engages with ApprenticeshipNH's Equity Advisory Committee and community-based convenings related to employment and work equity in industries as designated by the Grant Manager.
    • Complies with all college, system, state, and federal rules and regulations.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    Minimum Qualifications:

    Education: Associate's degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in liberal arts, public or business administration, social sciences, education, marketing, or public relations.

    Experience: Three years' professional or paraprofessional experience within a human services, community-based, or educational organization, with responsibility for case management, career counseling, community/business outreach, public relations, training, or program/project management.

    OR

    Education: Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in liberal arts, public or business administration, social sciences, education, marketing, or public relations.

    Experience: One year professional or paraprofessional experience within a human services, community-based, or educational organization, with responsibility for case management, career counseling, community/business outreach, public relations, training, or program/project management.

    License/Certification: Valid driver's license, or access to transportation for statewide travel.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in career development/coaching services. Experience working with underrepresented populations (low-income individuals, veterans, women, youth, individuals with disabilities, and refugees/ English as a Second Language) and/or community-based organizations providing career coaching services. Knowledge of state and federal training resources such as WIOA, WorkNowNH, WorkInvestNH, TANF, and/or Vocational Rehabilitation.

    Special Considerations: This position is eligible for remote work but requires in-person meetings and in-state travel with a focus on the Northern region of New Hampshire.

Ability to work independently to develop new or alternative approaches to meet changing and variable conditions. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the agency appointing authority.
