    Description

    Summary:

    This role involves on-site painting and servicing of various industrial equipment, including electric and diesel trucks, forklifts, and construction machinery. The Heavy Equipment Painter / Service Technician will provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to customer requests for service and assistance, meeting scheduled commitments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Reads work order and exam surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary.
    • Mix paints efficiently to meet color and tone expectations.
    • Work on a variety of mediums as required of the job.
    • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
    • Maintain a professional impression always.
    • Manage administrative and marketing obligations as required.
    • Provide accurate estimations reflective of job completion timeframes.
    • Update clients on the progress of work throughout the engagement.
    • Obtains signature from customer and communicates with customer work that was completed.
    • Represents employer to customers and maintains professional self-image.
    • Tracks and schedules routine maintenance of service van ensuring cleanliness.
    • Prepare and submit daily paperwork including work orders, receipts, and invoices.
    Requirements:
    • High School graduation or GED.
    • 1 year of proven experience as a painter in a related job setting (heavy equipment or something similar).
    • Excellent skill in mixing paint and colors.
    • Keen eye for aesthetic and visual precision.
    • High attention to detail meticulous and diligent.
    • Steady hand to ensure precision.
    • Able to stand for long periods of time.
    • Good oral and written communications skills.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Must have a valid driver license and clean driving record.
