Job DescriptionSouth Bay based company has an exciting opening for an AP\AR Clerk to join their team This candidate must have QuickBooks experience.
The general responsibility of the job is to maintain financial records and assist with general day to day tasks within the finance department.
This is a contract to hire position with a target salary of $ /hour, DOE. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Essential Duties:
· Check figures, postings, and documents for proper entry, mathematical accuracy and proper codes.
· Debit, credit, and total accounts on computers spreadsheet and databases.
· Reconcile or notes and report any discrepancies found in records.
· Match order forms with invoices and record the necessary information.
· Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements.
· Prepare bank deposits by compiling data from cashiers, verifying and balancing receipts, and sending cash, checks or other forms of payments to banks.
· Perform general admin duties such as filing and answering phones.
Requirements:
· Minimum two years of recent experience in accounts payable and receivable
· Experience with inventory is helpful, but not required
· Intermediate in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Excellent verbal and written communication
