'''Duties'''- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments
- Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests
- Prepare and process journal entries for accounts payable transactions
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all accounts payable transactions
- Assist with monthend closing activities related to accounts payable
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any billing or payment inquiries
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, or PeopleSoft
- Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
- Knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
- Experience with account reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with Ceridian or other payroll systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
