We Require

  • Six (6) months of clerical and customer service experience
  • High school diploma or GED
We Also Value

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Typing speed of at least 50 wpm
  • One (1) or more years of clerical experience including typing, receptionist work and customer service
  • One (1) or more years' experience managing and scheduling calendars in Microsoft Outlook
  • Intermediate or advanced outlook experience
Job Contributions

  • Acts as the receptionist for the department by greeting internal and external customers at the main customer service desk and assisting them with the checkin process.
  • Provides customers with clear explanations and directions.
  • Schedules conference rooms for internal and external customers.
  • Answers and refers telephone calls and visitors to the appropriate department personnel.
  • Receives incoming and outgoing deliveries and assures each one is properly logged in and delivered to the appropriate person.
  • Reserves and checks out county motor pool vehicles
  • Sorts and files documents and records, maintains spreadsheets to include sorting alphabetically as well as numerically, and researches and crossreferences files.
  • Assists in a backup role with records processing and reprographic services.
Working Conditions

Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
