    Summary Research, design, and develops embedded computer systems software, in conjunction with hardware product development, by performing the following duties.

    Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities


    • Responsible for improving software quality as delegated by management

    .
    • Gather and analyze software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints as directed by Engineering Management
    • Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate the interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of the overall system as directed by Engineering Management


    • Develop software requirements specifications, test procedures and other documentation as directed by Engineering Management
    • Develop software that meets or exceeds product software requirements

    .
    • Develop and coordinate software release process and installation procedures.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance.

    Proficiency in ISO9001:2015 and AS9100D standards.

    IPC-A-610 certification is required, with preference given to candidates who also possess J-STD-001 certification.

    Working knowledge of inspections and manufacturing processes, particularly in the electronics/electro-mechanical industry

    . - Familiarity with manufacturing ISO, FAR, DFAR, and ITAR regulations is advantageous.
