- Maintain ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D:2016 QMS standards.
- Identify and resolve product quality issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Communicate and reinforce the company's commitment to quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with customers' quality and engineering teams to address root causes and develop action plans.
- Review customers' quality requirements and alert relevant departments of any exceptional notes.
- Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning activities for new tool or process design.
- Facilitate effective problem-solving techniques for root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Generate AS9102 reports for complex assemblies and coordinate resolution of customer complaints.
- Lead PPM improvement initiatives for strategic customers.
- Apply statistical techniques to identify product and process issues and trends.
- Participate in quality reporting and management review processes.
- Interact with customers, contract manufacturers, and suppliers to address issues and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in supplier qualifications and audits.
- Calculate and estimate MTBF, MTTR, MTTM.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or Quality Systems Management.
- 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in AS9100 QMS.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering processes and experience in the electronics/electromechanical industry.
- Familiarity with FAA Conformity is advantageous.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Quality Engineer, Certified AS9100 Auditor.
- Experience with internal and supplier audit processes, CA/PA process, FAI, and AS9102 reporting.
- Working knowledge of Reliability Analysis software and current MIL-STD requirements.
- Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Professional demeanor under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
- Availability to work standard hours with occasional travel required.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and computers.
- Vision abilities required for close work and computer usage.
- Work primarily conducted in office settings with occasional workbench activities.
- Moderate noise levels with potential exposure to electrical hazards.
