- Intake for surgical patients and return patients
- Prepare patients for physical exam/surgery
- Preparing patients for Mohs layers and reconstructive surgery
- Assisting surgeons with Mohs surgery and reconstructive surgery
- Assists with procedures and demonstrates current knowledge and skill in nursing practice to ensure safe and effective care for the patient population.
- Responsible for patient education including handing out educational pamphlets, giving verbal instructions, explaining and recommending products, discussing medications and wound care and answering patient questions
- Providing post-op care to return patients
- Surgical instrument processing
- Prepare for the day's activities by checking schedules and preparing rooms for patient use i.e. clean, organize and stock rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
- Must be able to work under time pressures in a busy clinic/office environment
- Must be able to react quickly and immediately respond to emergencies
- Must be able to lift, push/pull and carry 15lbs
- Must be able to reach for objects by extending arms and able to stay in one position for periods of time
- Must maintain attention to detail over extended period of time
- 40 hours per week
- Follow the surgeon between Mohs surgical appointments and follow-up appointments
- Typical working days could be Monday-Friday with normal business hours. You'll have a set schedule.

- Current and active RN license in the state of MO with no restrictions
- 2 years Prior experience in outpatient surgery clinic setting
- Demonstrated ability or experience in patient flow management and confidential management of patient health information
- Ability to provide services to patients in a warm, professional manner
- Dermatology experience a plus
- Ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the dermatology field and a passion for building relationships with their patients
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with clarity both verbally and in writing

- EMR documentation

- Proven competencies/skills: analytical, problem solving, clinical/technical, patient/customer service orientation and bedside manner, interpersonal and written communications, thoroughness and teamwork.

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced full-time Registered Nurse to work at our Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center office in Chesterfield, MO. This is an outpatient dermatology-focused MOHS surgery center. This clinic has a high volume environment which will require multitasking and superb customer/patient care. We are looking for long-term team members who will embrace our practice ethics and bring positive energy. This position will work up to 40 hours, Monday-Friday.
