- Plan, manage, and maintain appropriate inventory levels of materials and ingredients within the supply network
- Drive efficiency improvements to achieve inventory goals
- Continuously monitor slow moving, expiring, and obsolete inventory reducing obsolescence
- Collaborate with suppliers & 3PLs to ensure time-phased forecasted requirements can be met
- Escalate supply/inventory risk and work with key parties to identify options and drive resolution
- Assist with preparation of data and materials for monthly meetings
- Participate in projects/opportunities and ad hoc analysis as required
- Perform other analytical tasks and/or related duties as assigned
- Material inventory levels within target
- Best in class obsolescence management
- Material Planning support that ensures success of projects (new product/formula launches, etc)
- Strong communicator with skills to work cross-functionally on multiple levels with our plants, co-manufacturers, sourcing, quality, and suppliers as well as work independently
- Knowledge owner of supply chain principles and the impacts of key inputs, such as desired fill rates, forecast accuracy, target inventory levels, and inventory carrying costs
- Proven organizer with skills and ability to perform with urgency and accuracy while managing competing priorities and demands
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Curious in nature and problem solver
- Detail oriented with a passion to develop efficient processes
- Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably in a Supply Chain Planning or Material Planner role
- BS/BA degree required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint a must

Position Summary:
We are looking for a Material Planner to be a key member of the Supply Chain Planning team. This person will be responsible for managing time-phased material supply plans and inventory levels for assigned categories. They will work proactively and cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coverage and mitigate risk of material related disruptions in the network, while at the same time protecting against having materials expire. This person will report to the Senior Manager, Supply Planning.
Where You'll Work
This role will be based out of our Concord, MA headquarters where you will be immersed in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives and collaboration is key.
Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days.
