Our client, reputable construction company is looking for an impressive Accounting Manager. This is an incredible opportunity for a professional to join a well-established organization with fantastic company culture. The ideal candidate must be technically strong, collaborative, and have construction accounting experience.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70,000 – $80,000

Position Overview:

The Accounting Manager will spearhead the Accounting function, playing a crucial role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This Accounting Manager position offers extensive exposure to the bustling construction business by leading the core accounting operations directly.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

Overseeing all accounting operations such as billing, accounts receivable and payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and revenue recognition
Supervising the annual budgeting and planning procedures
Administering and scrutinizing all financial strategies for variance analysis
Assisting with the month-end, quarter, and year-end closure processes
Formulating and documenting business operations and accounting guidelines
Responsible for the preparation and compliance of audits
Directing payroll and contract management

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required
Bilingual is a plus but not required
Prevalent industry experience

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred but is not required
