    At Electronic Arts we have many examples of players creating content, whether it be a skateboard park in Skate or fantastical mansions in the Sims 4.

    The future will provide our players with more empowerment to imagine and create, with their imagination being the only limit.

    We are looking for a Senior Game integrations Engineer to help us integrate and showcase our technologies that power creation in our games.

    If you have experience with game development and integrating with services, we want to hear from you.

    You will work with an experienced team that has collectively built and worked on games and backend services for more than two decades.

    You will work with multiple developers to integrate and showcase our services to our partners. We strive to stay relevant in our development approaches and technology. Many of our software engineers are "polyglots" and strive in multiple environments.

    As a Senior Game Integrations Engineer reporting to the Integrations Technical Director, you will:
    Create integration client experiences via sample and in-progress multiplayer games that showcase our user-generated content capabilities.

    Oversee the Unreal Engine architecture and design patterns to ensure a performant, stable, and extendible codebaseUtilize and expand on existing cloud-hosted services for game integrationsUtilize and expand on our game SDKs that connect to our servicesWrite clean, SOLID code that promotes our coding standardsContribute to our coding standardsAuthor and review technical design documents and API specifications detailing software requirementsCreatively blend security best practices and original techniques to keep user data secure and prevent cheatingSupport and troubleshoot inbound requests from studios and partners Maintain a suite of automated tests that validate the correctness of backend servicesQualifications Please note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered.

    Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field8+ years of job experience in a hands-on coding roleYou've shipped or prototyped multiple games with Unreal Engine or UnityExpertise with Unreal Engine architecture best practicesExpertise with C++ and UE Blueprints.

    You also have experience with some of the following languages:
    C#, TypeScript, Java/Kotlin, or Go.

    Experience with terminal, bash, and command line interfacesYou have mentored team members to help them grow their skills, while ensuring code remains performant, scalable, and stable.

    You have implemented or contributed to real-time multiplayer architecture.

    You develop high-quality, testable softwareYou have a desire to work with server engineers and designers to integrate their capabilities in into gamesYou have experience working in an Agile or Scrum environmentYou're willing to iterate quickly and develop prototypesYou have a desire to teach and learn from your peersPlusesUnity experienceYou have worked on multiple aspects of a game (ie engine, systems, tooling, networking).You've shipped and maintained a framework library that has been utilized by partnersYou have experience building scalable services and deploying them to KubernetesYou have experience working with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc) Ceci ne s'applique pas au Québec.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations.

    If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

    EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting.

    Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

    BASE SALARY RANGES

    • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs.

    Sacramento):
    o $161,100 - $239,700 USD Annually

    • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs.

    Buffalo):
    o $142,900 - $239,700 USD Annually

    • Jersey City,

    NJ :
    o $187,400 - $239,700 USD Annually

    • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs.

    Colorado Springs):
    o $153,100 - $206,200 USD Annually

    • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs.

    Spokane):
    o $142,900 - $230,000 USD Annually

    • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs.

    Victoria):
    o $133,400 - $193,200 CAN Annually Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

    In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.

    Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

    For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.

    Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
