    Job Description Qualifications:

    The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Senior Simulation Integration Engineer to join our team in Seattle, WA.

    The selected candidate will be responsible for Systems Labs Simulation Integration on test benches for multiple Boeing airplane programs.


    Position Responsibilities Include:


    Lead work in the Integrated Aircraft Systems Laboratory (IASL) in Seattle Integrating simulations into test benches Lead and mentor newer engineers on all aspects of the simulations to test engineering development, tests and/or studiesDevelop and maintain bench software models, I/O files and toolsSupport new simulation release activities, test bench restoration activities, and bench system performance analysisApply extensive job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts.

    Full knowledge of other related disciplinesSkill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sourcesKnowledge of real-time software architecture and design methodologiesAbility to synthesize real-time software architectures and designs that meet real-time requirements, characteristics and constraintsThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.

    The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Some flexibility on schedule may exist based on business need.
    The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 7 years of experience in software development OR programming experience3+ years of experience in interdisciplinary engineering planning, design, development, integration, and validation and verification of avionics and/or electronics including hardware and softwareHave strong knowledge in Linux/Unix systemPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Familiarity with GUI development, Perl scripts, Python, and makefile Experience working on hardware/software interfaces using signals 429, 629, 825 Experience using software repositories and version control such as Jira, GITExperience and/or education in logic modeling tools, such as, MATLAB/SimulinkKnowledge of airplane systems and real-time software test systemsExperience in Test Bench supportFamiliar with Boeing Specification Control Drawings (SCDs)

    Experience with Boeing Parallel Simulation System (PSIM)Typical Education/Experience:
    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.

    Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

    PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Summary pay range:
