    POSITION SUMMARY

    As the RTX Sales Project Manager, you will be at the forefront working with high-profile, forward-thinking fire departments that are embracing the modernization of their fleet with the RTX, our revolutionary electric fire truck.

    Your role involves taking the lead on multiple RTX projects, ensuring efficient production, and supporting sales initiatives. You will collaborate with dealers, customers, and others within the Rosenbauer Group, with a focus on quality assurance and adaptability to meet organizational needs.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    All employees are required to support Rosenbauer's Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.

    1. Drive sales project success by tracking and manage multiple sales projects to meet or exceed set timelines and sales targets.
    2. Engage customers by initiating and maintaining effective communication with dealers and customers to gather specifications to ensure needs are met.
    3. Collaborate with dealers and customers to create detailed truck specifications for the production process.
    4. Work closely with colleagues within the Rosenbauer Group to ensure an efficient and seamless production and finishing process.
    5. Generate change orders based on mid-point and final corrections to guarantee that the fire apparatus aligns with customer expectations and quality standards.
    6. Optimize the process by continuously enhancing configuration software, forms, and processes to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
    7. Support Sales by assisting the RTX Sales and Marketing Manager with product presentations, demos, and dealer network education on the RTX.
    8. Proactively research and stay informed about industry trends and new products to inform sales strategies and stay competitive.
    9. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Education:

    • Associates degree plus 2 years of experience or related equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.

    Preferred Education:

    • Bachelors degree in communication, business, or similar related field

    Required Experience:

    • 2 years of sales or customer service experience.

    Preferred Experience:

    • 2 years of project management experience.
    • 1-2 years of Rosenbauer/fire service manufacturing experience.
    • 1-2 years of firefighting experience and/or electric vehicle knowledge/experience.

    • Demonstrated understanding of general manufacturing concepts.
    • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including tact and diplomacy, for customer service, conflict management, and relationship-building with internal and external contacts.
    • High aptitude for being detail-oriented in completing paperwork and tasks.
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to prioritize work, multitask, and adapt to shifting priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as both a team member and independently.
    • Must be able to work professionally with customers, senior management, and provide efficient leadership.
    • Able to apply strategic thinking and mediate between customers/dealerships and Rosenbauer to ensure mutual satisfaction.
    • Travel up to 30% throughout North America and Austria. This position requires a valid passport or the ability to obtain a valid passport upon hire.

    Language Skills:

    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
    • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to use effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    Mathematical Skills:

    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

    Reasoning Ability:

    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
    • Ability to deal with problems involving a variety of variables in standardized situations.

    Computer Skills:

    • Ability to perform intermediate PC functions including spreadsheet formulas and functions, queries, tables, merges, and special reports.
    • Will perform some troubleshooting.
    • Intermediate experience required.

    Decision Making:

    • Responsibilities are guided by a general set of policies or objectives.
    • There is considerable freedom to make decisions within these policies or objectives.
    • Work is periodically reviewed to determine if objectives have been met.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    This position works in an office environment. It is a quiet environment that is temperature controlled, ventilated, and well-lit. Working Conditions will include a desk space where most of the shift will be spent, and it provides open space to work in. This office space is routinely cleaned by Rosenbauer Cleaning Services. It has access to all welfare facilities. This position requires traveling to different departments, so working conditions vary when out of the office.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    This position requires standing, walking, sitting, and the use of hands for the entire shift. During shifts, the use of feet, legs, hands, and fingers for over 60 minutes is required, while the use of knees, back, shoulders, and arms can reach up to 15 minutes. This position may require reaching, climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling to complete job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus, and good depth perception. All positions require the ability to lift 50 pounds, but this position rarely involves lifting heavy objects.
