    Overview

    We are a dynamic and multicultural family seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Assistant to join our household. Our family spans different continents, and we are looking for an individual who can help us build a strong family culture, connect family members across the globe, and navigate American and Asian cultures.

    Responsibilities

    l Multitasking Excellence:

    Ø Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

    Ø Efficiently handle various responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations.

    Ø Demonstrate excellent planning ability to foresee and arrange future travels, events, family commitments, house maintenance, and new construction projects.

    l Household Supervision:

    Ø Supervise and provide training to family services workers, including nannies, cleaners, gardeners, drivers, etc.

    Ø Oversee the maintenance and refurbishment of all properties across multiple locations. Supervise and actively participate in hands-on involvement with new construction projects, including coordination and quality control.

    Ø Act as the household's HR representative, recruiting and maintaining household employees such as a cook, cleaners, and drivers to ensure everyone works efficiently and in harmony.

    Ø Possess the ability to discover and solve problems for each household employee, fostering a harmonious and productive work environment.

    l Calendar Management:

    Ø Carry out extensive diary management and coordination of meetings and calls, often over several time zones. Maintain and update family schedules, including appointments, events, activities, house maintenance, and new construction projects.

    Ø Coordinate family members' calendars and ensure everyone is aware of upcoming commitments.

    l Travel Arrangements:

    Ø Organize travels, including arranging visas, travel, accommodation and restaurants, and entertainment as required

    Ø Ensure a smooth travel experience, from packing to return.

    l Social Network Management:

    Ø Maintain and update the family's social network, including organizing gatherings and events.

    Ø Foster positive relationships within the family's social circle.

    Ø Build and strengthen the family's unique culture, connecting family members across continents.

    Ø Understand American culture and possess a basic understanding of Asian culture to facilitate cultural connections and interactions.

    l Administrative Support:

    Ø To support the family office operation by providing administrative support to the family principals as well as to the broader family when necessary

    Qualifications

    l 5+ years of experience in a similar role, specifically in a private household/

    l Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent planning ability.

    l Proactive attitude with a commitment to getting everything done efficiently.

    l Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    l Exceptional social networking skills, preferably within the SF Bay Area.

    l Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information.

    l Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.

    l Flexibility in work hours.
