About the role
The Mail Services Coordinator is critical to the processing, preparation, and delivery of mail throughout Host-supported locations.

The individual in this role maintains a detailed daily schedule and ensures that items are mailed and delivered quickly and efficiently.

This individual safeguards deliveries from damage and tampering, in addition to other duties such as responding to production needs.


What you'll do

  • Delivers mail, packages, copy products, and stationery to assigned groups/locations per daily schedule. Ensures that all packages received/delivered are shipped and/or delivered in a timely manner.
  • Checks daily and replenishes all mail and postage supplies.
  • Audits delivered items with delivery invoices. Approves or reject deliveries based on inspections. Check for contraband.
  • Ensures all shipped packages are adequately protected against damage.
  • Processes shipment requests with the vendor.
  • Applies appropriate postage amounts and required identification to outgoing mail and packages.
  • Stocks copy rooms and provide first response for copier fleet production needs, such as clearing jams (no tool repairs) and determining if a technician is needed.


May perform other duties including but not limited to supervising online production/copy requests, setup of conference rooms for client meetings, and professionally answering telephones, direct calls, and taking messages.

High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

A minimum of - 2 years of related work experience in warehouse, shipping, and receiving.

Be aware of and understand all safe work practices and procedures and potential hazards associated with the work environment.

Maintain and wear required appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)


Only operate warehouse equipment and machinery (e.g., pallet jacks, man lifts, etc.) if properly trained, qualified, and authorized to do so.

Ability to work requiring significant walking or through other means of mobility.

This includes standing in position for extended periods, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing and/or pulling and frequently lifting up to 40 lbs.
