    Description


    The RoleThe Supply Chain Manager is responsible for developing and executing procurement and supply chain strategies for critical and high-value procurement contracts, supplier partnerships, and strategic procurement projects within manufacturing.

    The Supply Chain Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials and products through the manufacturing process, from procurement to distribution.

    The strategies implemented by the Supply Chain Manager will optimize the supply chain, minimize costs, and maintain high levels of quality and compliance.

    The primary objective of this role is to ensure that the company's supply chain functions effectively, meeting production schedules, quality standards, and customer expectations.

    The AccountabilitiesManagement of purchasing activity for PIP including supervision of inward goods and non-conformance processReporting of progress and status to agreed plansDevelopment of plans, schedules, and budgets for review and approval Management of purchasing activities such as:Company supply chain performanceMaintenance and improvement of purchasing procedures in an ISO 13485 facility Vendor ManagementNCR management related to suppliersForecasting and planning for ISO 13485 manufacturing and project-based shippingOversee ERP refinements and improvements to add efficiencies to the manufacturing processNegotiation of pricing and supplier agreementsProvide leadership to PI project purchasing activitiesLead Supply Chain process improvements in a Lean Manufacturing environmentDevelop and implement key performance tracking metrics for all aspects of the Supply ChainRegularly provide reporting on the status of inventoryReduce and maintain a low-cost base across the entire business through the management of strategically planned contract negotiations, supplier management, demand management activities, and supply chain initiativesProvide highly specialized knowledge of procurement matters and be a reference point for complex procurement matters over one or more categories.

    Other duties as required commensurate with your skills and experienceThe Typical ExperiencesDemonstrated procurement experience in regulated manufacturing industry Extensive experience purchasing from local and overseas suppliersISO 13485 experienceDemonstrated experience in end-to-end Supply Chain Compliance with internal sales process methodology and standards, including opportunity identificationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions to optimize the supply chainKnowledge of ERP systems and other supply chain management tools and technologiesAdherence to OH&S requirements: Safe use of potentially hazardous equipment, liquids, etc.

    Compliance with policies, procedures and international quality standardsBachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) preferred$145,000 - $165,000 a yearWe offer our team a broad array of comprehensive benefit programs for our employees, including medical, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, and paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.

    Full time employees and dependents are provided with medical coverage, and the company covers 100% of the premium cost.
