Sports meets science
In 2025, the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region will welcome around 10,000 athletes from approximately 170 countries.

The FISU World University Games are one of the world's largest multi-sport events and are considered the Olympic Games for students during their academic career.

The innovative and participatory concept brings together the fields of sustainability, education, culture, sports, and science.


We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a
Team Leader (M/F/d) for Stakeholder Management.

This position is within the organizing committee of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games and is a full-time, 40-hour per week position, with a contract until the summer of 2026.

As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the team in the area of external stakeholder management.

Your role will involve ensuring strong involvement, intensifying and solidifying relationships with our external stakeholders and partners before and during the event.

You will have a significant amount of autonomy in your role.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the team responsible for stakeholder management, including budget and personnel responsibilities
