Description
Legal Assistant / Paralegal for CEO - Downtown JacksonvilleA leading legal organization serving the Jacksonville area, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on a temporary to hire basis.
This position will be based out of our downtown Jacksonville office and offers the opportunity for remote work in a hybrid environment.
Coordinate day-to-day administrative functions for the President and CEO.Conduct legal research on statutes, orders, and case law.
Support political and fundraising outreach efforts, including government funding initiatives.
Analyze case documentation and prepare legal documents such as motions and discovery requests.
Record and monitor case activities to ensure compliance with legal deadlines.
Maintain relationships with paralegal programs and assist with staff communications.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a paralegal in civil litigation practice.
Preferred experience in fundraising or lobbying efforts at the local or statewide level.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google applications.
