- You will provide product demonstrations to small and large groups, hold training seminars, and participate in trade events independently and in partnership with outside sales reps, vendors, and customers.
- Identify, qualify, and acquire new customers via phone, referrals, trade shows, your existing network and through new networking opportunities.
- Responsible for promoting all products through various methods such as social media and marketing initiatives.
- Operating in a consultative fashion, you will act as a true solution provider to customers and their evolving needs. These could be general contractors, subcontractors, professionals in the maintenance industry, and more.
- From day-to-day, you will meet with owners and executives, safety managers, superintendents, project managers, engineers, contractors, and other key players with buying influence in the construction space in order to educate them on safety product offerings. This means your office might be your vehicle, a construction site, a job trailer, a power plant, or a corporate office.
- Frequent contact with new and existing customers to discuss needs, improve service, strengthen relationships and gain additional wallet-share in coordination with local sales.
- You will coordinate vendor trade events with the local Colony branches across your territory of responsibility in order to develop the safety category within our local branches.
- To maximize success, you will work to seamlessly integrate regional-and-company-wide safety initiatives and product-specific goals into your strategy.
- Stay current with trends and new products that can help enhance our business.
