    Description

    In-house law clerk Intern

    The law clerk will have exposure to various aspects of the corporate legal environment and will have the opportunity to participate in the day-to-day work experiences of in-house attorneys and gain experience in a variety of areas of law, such as: contracts, employment, regulatory, compliance, corporate governance and litigation.

    Responsibilities / Duties - include but are not limited to the following:

    • Draft, review and revise contractual agreements.
    • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
    • Assist with management of contract repository.
    • Draft certain legal communications.
    • Assist AXA Assistance in meeting internal control requirements.
    • Assist with litigation management.
    • Support team with various projects.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Your Profile
    • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Currently enrolled in a JD program. Second year law students are preferred; first year law school applications will be accepted.
    • Excellent communication and writing skills, ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.

    The Law Clerk will be working on a hybrid model around 20-30 hours a week.
