Simon Sandoval

It's a pleasure to interduce myself, my name is Simon Sandoval Jr 24 years old and currently working within the legal field, but looking to step into firearms industry. After graduating in 2016 I immediately joined the workforce while acquiring my associates. It was during this time that I observed co workers and supervisors so I could gain the skills and traits that they had acquired from trial & error minimizing any mistakes on my end. Although being skilled in my current field my true drive is more in line with firearms, from the history engineering, to the constant innovation. Living in Chicago the views on firearms can often be clouded and misinformed having many push for things like Assault weapons' bans and armor restrictions. Like when I made the decision to take responsibility of my safety into my own hands and acquire a carry permit I similarly feel it is time to stop wasting time and combine my passion and skills into a career path that presents me with the opportunity to be happy to go to work sharing my knowledge / skills. 

Currently my experience as a law clerk has me dealing with many legal documents and applications that most fallow strict guidelines. In short attention to detail is key from names dates and especially numbers. This would transfer over well to the paper work required with firearms sales I imagine. 

Customer service is something that I pride myself in speaking confidently, directly and respectfully with clients is key to smooth in guest interactions. It was my ability to apply and adopt these skills that earned me the Spanish bilingual team lead position within a call center prior to becoming a law clerk. 

My highest level of education is community college graduating in 2018 with honors thanks to a scholarship providing me the opportunity to earn my Associates Degree with a focus in history.
