Job DescriptionLHH is searching for a seasoned Medical Credentialing Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Credentialing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating and completing credentialing applications for both initial and re-credentialing processes for all licensed providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the credentialing process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
Collaborate with providers to gather necessary information and documentation for credentialing applications.
Coordinate with hospital credentialing departments to ensure provider privileges are maintained and updated as needed.
Keep all necessary stakeholders informed of physician credentialing status, including eadership and relevant departments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing records for all providers within the organization.
Stay informed of relevant regulations and accreditation standards related to credentialing processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
Minimum of [2] years of experience in medical credentialing or related field.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credentialing software systems.
