The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the financial services industry in search of a Manager (Assurance Services) to join their team This role will serve as a technical resource for engagement teams to assist in the application of professional standards and internal policies.

Compensation:
$70, 000 - $150, 000 per year DOE, plus annual bonus
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Plan and complete assurance engagements of various industry groups following the firms standards.
Identify performance improvement opportunities.
Supervise the assurance staff assigned to the engagement.
Review client engagement documentation and work papers for accuracy and compliance with firm policies and professional standards.
Development of Team Members.
Display a strong understanding of general accounting standards and auditing and accounting and review service procedures.
Identify and communicate accounting and assurance-related matters to other engagement team members.
Direct communication with clients.
Develop and monitor the budget for engagements.
Assist in organizing and instructing periodic department-wide technical training.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
7+ years of applicable experience.
Bachelors degree in accounting or related degree.
Active CPA license.
Publ
Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership abilities.
Can meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Proficiency in ProSystems, Engagement fx, or another paperless audit environment.
Strict adherence to professional ethics.
Superior knowledge of general accounting and assurance services including skills knowledge plus the application of general theory.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
