    Overview:


    We are hiring a Technical Sales Engineer to help our industrial automation customers by providing sales support and preparing customer quotations.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as a product expert for customers and support sales team through email, phone, or in-person interactions.
    • Analyze customer applications and offer solutions based on our product range and expertise.
    • Conduct site surveys of industrial automation systems and collaborate with project engineers to develop solutions.
    • Use industry knowledge to recommend the best solutions for customers.
    • Prepare system configuration diagrams and technical and commercial proposals.
    • Deliver technical and commercial proposals to customers and develop new business relationships.
    • Proficient in PLC products including Allen Bradley, GE, Siemens, Reliance Electric, and drive systems such as ABB, Allen Bradley, GE, Siemens, Reliance Electric.

    Qualifications:

    • Engineering degree or equivalent industrial automation experience.
    • Experience with PLC, AC & DC Drive systems, and HMI products.
    • Knowledge of metals processing is preferred.
    • Willingness to participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with automation products and software.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Interpersonal and Professional Skills:

    • Self-motivated and excellent time management skills.
    • Understanding of customer relationships and project interactions.
    • Travel requirement approximately 10-20% of the time.
