    About this Position
    As a full-stack engineer, you will play a vital technical role in our fintech teams, addressing the team's technical obstacles across frontend and backend web development tasks. Your responsibilities will involve constructing features for our fintech products and the underlying engines and frameworks. Your focus will be on React for the frontend and a mix of Python and Node microservices on the backend. Additionally, you will engage with technologies like Gitlab, AWS, Postgres, Redis, Datadog, Amplitude, and Snowflake. Your reporting line will be to an Engineering Manager. As a Software Engineer, you have the opportunity to progress on the IC track to a Senior Software Engineer, further to a Staff Software Engineer, or an Engineering Manager.

    Responsibilities
    • Deliver projects end-to-end in a dynamic, iterative setting
    • Significantly drive the business forward and witness the impact of your work on company metrics and user experience
    • Take ownership of features, services, caches, and databases, covering deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing
    • Participate in cross-functional team tasks, collaborate with external stakeholders, and contribute to shaping future project roadmaps
    • Be data-oriented and customer-focused, conducting experiments for all launches

    About You

    Preferred Experience
    • 2+ years of professional software development experience, including 1+ years using Python or Node on the backend and 1+ years with a modern frontend JS framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)
    • Hands-on experience with web services and modern web technologies

    Nice To Have
    • Experience across a range of our infrastructure, languages, and stacks (React, Python, Node, Gitlab, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Redis, Datadog, Amplitude, and Snowflake)
    • Knowledge of SQL/analytics, along with devops concepts
    • Background in a startup environment
    • Collaborated closely with business stakeholders
    • Proficiency in writing end-to-end/browser-based tests
