Candidates selected for this role have the option to work remotely within the United States (U.S.) or from one of our domestic locations (excluding U.S. territories).

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this role entail:

Assisting in designing, developing, integrating, and testing new software, as well as enhancing existing solutions
Conducting technical research and trade-off studies to guide decision-making
Collaborating on requirements analysis and innovating solutions with the team
Contributing to performance analysis and enhancement endeavors
Continuously enhancing your technical expertise in line with your career objectives

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree in a related field
3-5 years of web and technical support experience, with at least 5 years in technology integration for government services, including GIS, analytical dashboards, and web-based systems
Knowledge and interest in developing accessible interfaces
Experience with relational (e.g., Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, CouchDB)
Proficiency in cloud-based infrastructure like AWS or Azure
Full-stack experience or familiarity with full-stack frameworks such as ASP.NET or Django
Adeptness with agile development practices and tools
Knowledge of geospatial visualization tools such as Mapbox, Leaflet, or other GIS systems

Skills:

Proficiency in Python and other languages like C#, PHP, or Ruby
Proficiency in JavaScript/Typscript libraries such as Angular, React, JQuery, D3, etc.
Expertise in web development technologies like HTML5, CSS, XML, Bootstrap, etc.
Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
Effective interpersonal skills for communication across diverse backgrounds, collaborating with multifunctional teams and clients to deliver top-notch software solutions
Quick learner able to work well in a virtual team setup, swiftly acquiring domain knowledge
