The results are unique and differentiated products that break new ground combining environmental protection, ruggedness, speed, range of motion and ultimate comfort in professional duty, tactical training, adventure, and fitness.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Manager is responsible for being the connection of the customer's voice to the product opportunity and aligning with cross functional partners for product road maps, executions and launch schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports collaboration with cross functional partners (Design, Development and Technical Development) to identify where smart risks can be taken in product categories and protect core businesses to meet the company's objectives and financial targets.
Drives seasonal line planning/ideation and briefs
Responsible for global/regional market research on competition, assortment, pricing & features
Collaborates with Marketing Channel Leader to integrate market & end user insights
Responsible for product category VLPs (Visual Line Plans) and updates them seasonally
Accountable for color product selection in collaboration from Design's color palette presentation
Responsible for being the subject matter expert on designated products for product & industry knowledge, trends and opportunities
Supports product lifecycle for the global assortment by partnering with channel and regional leaders to analyze new and carry-over products to establish the product lifecycle on a global level
Supports CPM team on seasonal hindsight, selling data, and conducts marketplace research to present new market opportunities for product categories.
Responsible for life cycle management & pricing, this will be presented at Line Adoption and communicated to Channel Leaders by PM team.
Product discontinuationLife cycle management, globally with heavy consult from channel leaders
KPI's will be key to help with the decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS
:
Minimum Bachelors Degree in related Field preferred
5+ years of experience in Product Management
Proven experience in leading a team
Highly skilled in MS Outlook tools including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet target deadlines

Pay Range:
$90,000 - $100,000 plus bonus.
5.11 Tactical offers a best-in-class benefits program including:
