    ASSOCIATE MERCHANDISE PLANNER

    The Associate Merchandise Planner will work with the Director of Merchandise Planning to develop strategic merchandising financial plans that drive sustainable growth and profitability of assigned categories.

    Partner with the Director of Merchandise Planning to develop and maintain detailed, seasonal plans that maximize profitability and growth through engineered assortments

    Provide targets on demand, margin, net sales, assortment size, newness, price ladders and space

    Provide Merchandising, Inventory, Marketing and Finance with performance metrics

    Analyze the current and historical business trends and apply learnings to future strategies

    Maintain pulse on competitive landscape to ensure companys relevance and inform strategic growth opportunities and risks

    **Must Haves**

    BA/BS degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience

    3+ years of proven success in planning, financial analysis and/or merchandising

    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word)

    Proficient using PC-based analytical tools

    Proven process management and analytical skills

    Demonstrated problem-solving skills
