Material Control, Technical Support - Tyndall AFB, FL

JOB SUMMARY:

BB&E is seeking Material Control, Technical Support to assist on the IMPESS Contract onsite at Tyndall AFB, FL. Remote Option.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide program technical support to the Operations Maintenance SME in relation to Material Control (MC) establishment and management.
  1. Tech support shall include assisting base organization end users implement, operationalize, and update MC programs within NexGEN Information Technology (IT) during initial operational capability (IOC) periods and subsequent full operational capability (FOC) periods.
• Advise and assist the Operations Maintenance SME and base organizations on the technical aspects of MC program establishment and management within NexGen IT.
• Technical Support shall be accomplished virtually and through on-site visits.
• Perform on-site visits and accompany teams during on-site visits to deliver technical support towards MC program development and management in NexGen IT.
• Provide technical support engagements to organizations in support of establishing and developing the organization's MC program.
• Provide instruction, guidance, and support to organizations through hands-on guided instruction in a classroom environment, virtual environment, or on-site with the organization, as directed by the government.
• Support the consistent delivery of technical support engagement to organizations, the Contractor shall develop and maintain technical support curriculum content delivery plans that are current and align with MC program management business processes.
• The curriculum content delivery plans shall provide the Contractor a consistent business process presentation for the development and management of MC program records in NexGen IT while engaging with organizations.
• Develop syllabuses that outline the delivery schedule of technical support content in classroom, virtual, and on-site environments.
• The technical support curriculum content delivery plans shall be reviewed during each NexGen IT system update, and ensure the content is current.
• The technical support curriculum content delivery plans will be updated when the supporting business processes are updated by the government.
• Provide engagement reports that indicate attendance by the engaged organization, participant feedback and analysis based on feedback forms submitted by organization level participants.
• Tech support curriculum content delivery plans shall include written content, and power point slides with embedded scripts on the following MC business processes topics specific to the unique applications within Government Operated Civil Engineer Supply Store (COCESS) and situation where neither store front type exist:
  1. Development and management of consumable specification in NexGen IT.
  2. Establishment & management for warehouse storage locations in NexGen IT.
  3. Creation and management of inventory items in NexGen IT.
  4. Purchase request creation, management, and routing in NexGen IT.
  5. Vendor management in NexGen IT.
  6. Purchase Order establishment and management in NexGen IT.
  7. Funding document management in NexGen IT.
  8. Receipt and issue of ordered Material in NexGen IT.
  9. Inventory management (annual reviews, cycle counts, adjustments, stock levels, and returns) in NexGen IT.
  10. Prime Vendor operations and management in NexGen IT.
  11. GPC/Form/Contract/Services procurements in NexGen IT.
  12. U-Fix-It Program.
  13. End of Year actions.
• Develop, maintain, and coordinate an engagement schedule that continuously forecasts six months of organization level technical support engagements.
• Estimated tasks include initial development of technical support curriculum within 60 calendar days; Six (6) – Eight (8) technical support curriculum content delivery updated annually; 10-15 annual classroom or on-site engagements, 30-45 virtual engagements annually; 40-65 engagements reports annually; and engagement feedback summary reports annually.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree or higher in Logistics, Business, Management, or Engineering or 15+ years of Department of the Air Force (DAF) Civil Engineer (CE) Operations Flight experience managing Material Control (MC) programs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Fifteen (15+) years of related experience minimum.
• Working knowledge of Air Force Civil Engineer Operations Flight Material control business processes.
• Detailed working knowledge of Air Force Civil Engineer IT support systems, such as NexGen IT.
• Curriculum development and sustainment for Air Force Civil Engineer Operations Flight Material control business practices.
• Experience providing instructional guidance and presentation briefings to others relative to the correct application of Air Force Civil Engineer Operations Flight Material control IT systems.
• Experience providing guidance to others relative to the correct application of Material control business processes.
• Ability to apply technical solutions to dynamic engineering problems.
• Experience and knowledge with group/individual site visits logistics planning including, but not limited to, lodging, travel, trip coordination, agendas, meeting spaces, base access, site coordination, overseas travel training and rules, funding, and equipment.
• Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS in support of mission objectives.
• Ability to communicate orally and in written form. Position will require coordinating with MAJCOM and base level personnel to include identifying, documenting, and reporting lessons learned during all phases.
• Use of MS Office Suite Software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• U.S. Citizen.
• DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Motivated self-starters requested.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 60% of the time.
• Operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
• Light lifting, under 10 lbs.
• Ability to be on-site.
