    Description

    Senior Electrical Design Engineer at [Company Name]

    The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will lead projects, utilize CAD for designing and interpretation, and supervise specialists and contractors.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyzing CAD technical drawings and interpreting specifications to determine electrical requirements.
    • Creating and maintaining electrical infrastructure drawings in AutoCAD.
    • Liaising with other engineers to evaluate proposals.
    • Providing estimates for the development of electrical systems.
    • Supervising Junior Engineers, specialists, and sub-contractors.
    • Performing field visits to verify installations.
    • Troubleshooting electrical equipment and performing quality assurance checks.
    • Staying updated with the latest developments in electrical engineering.
    • Perform other duties as required.

    Qualifications

    • A BS degree in Electrical Engineering with PE registration preferred.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation for creating electrical drawings.
    • 5+ years of experience in electrical building system design.
    • Proven project leadership skills.
    • Strong collaboration, communication, and organization abilities.
    • Ability to manage self-directed work independently.
    • The physical ability to exert force occasionally and frequently.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
