    Description

    $8.00 an hour bonus available with increasing certification levels and opportunity for sign-on bonus or relocation reimbursement

    Job Summary:

    • Provide expert clinical education and facilitate research into specialized areas of nursing for patients on a Hemodialysis unit
    • Utilize your expertise to incorporate nursing processes into patient care plans, as well as perform as a clinical instructor for nursing students and possibly assist in unit staffing
    • Collaborate with other educators and clinical specialists to plan and implement curricula and regularly monitor trends to ensure high quality standards are maintained
    • Deliver high quality and safe patient care, while identifying and reporting any potential risks in a timely manner
    • Encourage patients to play an active role in their care to help prevent errors or miscommunications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN) required
    • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days required
    • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM required
    • Instructor in Unit-Required Certifications w/in 90 Days required
    • Current Instructor in BLS, ACLS, NRP or other instruct cert preferred
    • 18 months + directly related experience required; 3 years directly related experience preferred
    • Physical requirements include heavy work, exerting between 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people (Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work)
    • Working conditions include exposure to hazardous chemicals and biohazardous materials requiring PPE

    Please Note:

    • This is a full-time position working days
    • The job site is within I/P Hemodialysis department, with rotating shifts based on staffing needs
