- Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work.
- Prepare detailed takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment required for commercial construction projects.
- Utilize construction estimating software such as Bluebeam to create accurate estimates
- Communicate with general contractors pre-bid (RFI's) and post-bid (follow-up)
- Prefer divisions 8 thru 12 and/or someone with architectural commercial construction takeoff experience.
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software - Prefer Bluebeam.
- Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with subcontractors.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
