Responsibilities

  • Review and thoroughly understand all RFP documents, drawings, and specifications required to build a complete estimate.
  • Organize/conduct walk throughs coordinated with subcontractors to gather information on the existing conditions of a site.
  • Consult with engineers, architects, owners, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates, effect cost reductions, changes and adjustments to cost estimates and resolve issues.
  • Ensure that estimates comply with the requirements of the overall construction contract and are consistent with corporate guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Education_
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Sciences, Engineering or related field experience
  • LEED accreditation preferred
  • Experience & Technical Skills_
years as a Construction Estimator

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS 36
  • Experience with project scheduling software: MS Project, SureTrack, P6 or ProCore preferred
  • Experience with BUILDR or other CRM preferred
  • Experience with Sage, ProCore and ProEst preferred
  • Experience with PEMB software and best practices
  • Soft Skills _
  • Positive attitude and professional customer service skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously on estimates from the beginning to end of the bid process.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving and teamwork skills.

Travel

  • May be required.
  • Must have a own transportation, valid driver's license and be insurable per insurance company underwriting requirements.

Working Conditions

  • Most of your time will be spent in the office developing estimates, but you will be required to be in the field for walkthroughs and meetings.

Salary
$70-90K Starting Salary, DOE

$70, $90,000.00 per year
